Wednesday Market – A good thing in a smaller package

If you are a fan of the apricot –the Wednesday market is a must.   She has several different kinds and you can taste before you buy.

Vendors at the Wednesday market include:  Mi Fiesta great prepared foods -tamales, enchildas, chile rellanos , seasonal salsa, chips, tortillas, rice and beans , The Patch -wonderful seasonal produce including fresh sweet onions, Armstrong Valley Farm –new potatoes, Hector’s Honey honey but lots of great produce grown within two miles of the market,  Parsons Homegrown -the tomato that’s here now also grown within two miles of the market, organic plants and vegetable starts from Nature Spirits also grown within two miles of the market.   Everyone’s favorite — the Sebastopol Berry Farm is back at the Wednesday market: blueberries and raspberries all organic.  Carson’s Catch has  wild Alaskan salmon, cod and halibut all flash frozen on the boat.  Dreamcatcher ranch is featuring lamb these days but be sure and ask about their meat CSA particularly the bacon box!   DeSantis is here with there great variety of seasonal fruit –the very end of the citrus and the start of the stone fruit.  Min-Hee Hills Garden brings the most beautiful produce to the market and it doesn’t just look good — it tastes good too.  Damon also has some unusual Thai pepper plants  – the peppers start out black, turn green and then red.  He also has the peppers for sale.   If you are looking for a healthy snack you can’t beat Redel’s Roasted Almonds.   The Garden Wild has wonderful soaps and creams  most made from farm market products.  Waterhorse Ridge brings their enormous selection of jams, chutneys, salsas and other condiments.  Patricia Greer either grows it herself or buys it from the market.  Full Circle Bakery has wonderful breads to put Patricia’s jams on.  Run-Around -Brew is here for a wonderful coffee-break or get your day started and Gaga Cafe is in the house with just beans.  Shone Farm another neighbor is also a Wednesday vendor.  Country Rhodes is also a Wednesday vendor and they have tomatoes — summer tomatoes (they are from a slightly warmer place.)   Willow Design brings her clever gifts  including a wide range of items made out of old silverware….bud vases and bracelets…and much more.  And there is more.
