Volunteers Wanted!

The Santa Rosa Original Certified Farmers Market depends on assistance from like-minded individuals in our community who want to help our farmers and the organization grow and thrive.
Interested in volunteering at the Santa Rosa Original Certified Farmers Market? We are always looking for volunteers from the community to help our market remain a fun and inviting place — and it’s a great way for you to get to know our vendors and other members of the community.
We need weekly volunteer market ambassadors during the market, which is open Wednesday and Saturdays 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Tasks include greeting and helping customers, EBT SNAP transactions, assisting vendors & market manager, involvement in special activities at market.

Qualifications-
Must be organized, flexible, enjoy working with people, and a “morning person.”
Fluency in Spanish a plus
Must be able to commit to a minimum of 2 hours.
Responsibilities:
Answer market customer questions.
Assist with educational programs.
Swipe debit/credit/EBT cards.
Ask customers for their email address so that they can receive market newsletter.
Assist Market Manager, as needed.
Assist in our special events.
