Ponce Farm Salsa Roja

Easy, spicy and delicious salsa courtesy of Brenda.

These are approximations only, use more or less of each ingredient as you like.


5-6 Tomatoes, roughly chopped

1 White Onion, diced

3-4 cloves of roasted garlic

1-2 Serrano or Manzano Peppers, remove seeds for a less spicy version

½ bunch of Cilantro, chopped

Salt to taste



1Be sure to roast your garlic ahead of time.

2Put all ingredients in a saucepan with about ¼ cup of water and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for a bit (15-3- minutes?) Let cool, stick blend if you prefer a smooth salsa. Enjoy!
