Pop-up Sonoma County breakfasts with vineyard views

Several star chefs and many star chefs soon to be discovered are cooking at the market.    Aside from the dishes you can order on the spot many of them have convenience ingredients to help the home cook  make slow food fast.

Saturday is a bonanza of great Sonoma cooking including John Franchetti of Rosso Pizza.    If you think cold pizza for breakfast is good — wait until you have the breakfast pizza.  Their menu also has a breakfast version of the pandini

Rosso’s also sells their pizza dough and fresh mozzarella cheese.   Rosso’s cold ages their pizza dough  for three days .  You can get it ready to go.

Wednesday morning a few less choices but something for everyone’s idea of breakfast.    Tamales from Mi Fiesta, pastries and coffee drinks from Run-Around Brew, pastries from Full Circle Bakery, coffee and beans from Gaga Cafe and full breakfasts from the Windsor Green Grocer.

Joe Reuter, the Windsor Green Grocer, is a farming partner with Three Graces Farm.    The ingredients for his farm market breakfasts come from Three Graces farm especially the meat and poultry.   Many are available for purchase by the pound at the market.

There are places to sit in the sun or shade, the market is open from 8:30 until noon.    The Wednesday market showcases the diversity of Sonoma County’s small family farms.   If it’s the quintessential Sonoma County food experience you seek the best place is the Wednesday market.  Setting, ambiance, best of  Sonoma’s small family farms, and not quite as crowded as Saturday.
