Father’s Day Have Breakfast at the Market

Love your dad but haven’t got a clue what to do for Father’s Day.

Don’t forget we will be open Sunday, June 17th Father’s Day.   There is no market on Saturday June 16th.

The setting is sublime and no matter what your Dad likes for breakfast he will be delighted.   We have new food vendors including Jennie’s Oysters and Fish Tacos and Bon Temp Creole with crayfish pie — let’s just say when he brought samples to the market there were fights over the last bites.

Cooking for your father?  The market is the place to shop – the best butcher shop in Sonoma County.

Our Sonoma County farmers have wonderful locally grown fruit and vegetables.  Farms are everywhere in the County and most of them sell at the Santa Rosa Original Certified Farmers Market.    Thinking about potato salad?  New potatoes are in the market.  There are berries everywhere, peaches, and probably getting close to the end of cherries and apricots.

Does your Dad have a sweet tooth?   All our bakers have something tempting.  Each one is so different and they all are happy to let you taste.   Raymond’s Bakery has some mighty big brownies.  If you Dad has a sweet tooth and some dietary issues  – we have gluten free bakeries and they often address other issues as well.

There are also artisan vendors with great gifts for the Dad in your life.  You can’t go wrong for Father’s Day at this special Sunday market.
