January 7th Vendor List

We have bread, milk, and eggs! Ok it will be raining Saturday but it will be worth coming out.
You need to stock up for the big storm coming on Sunday.
You know you need snacks for the Raiders game.
And if you don’t want to cook but don’t want to be driving around in the rain – lots to choose from at the market including Ely’s posole and Lata’s the best Indian Food in Sonoma County. Anna’s Seafood has cioppino, chowder, and several other prepared items. Mi Fiesta has all kinds of things to make your meal preparation fast and easy.

Get your rain gear out and get to the market for the freshest, local fruits and vegetables. Foggy River also has a great selection of dried beans hmmmmmmmmbean soup.
Here is a tip for speeding up the process of soaking beans
Presoaking beans overnight not only cuts down on cooking time by up to 25 percent, it also helps the beans cook evenly without splitting. It’s easy, too (if you remember to do it). Still, we prefer the “power soak” method. Not only is it faster than soaking beans overnight, it also breaks down more of the complex sugars that can make beans hard to digest. The process is simple: Place beans in a pot and cover with water by three inches. Bring to a boil and simmer briskly for two minutes. Remove from heat, cover, and let stand for one hour. Drain. Your beans will be ready to use in your favorite recipes.–Kay Chun Bon Appetite
